As a successful designer, Wayne is an advocate of the
highest standards of excellence, professionalism and
quality. He firmly believes that design and digital
technology are an incredibly powerful and persuasive
medium for communicating information....the combination
can create a sensual, emotional experience across all
forms of space and media.
Wayne applies this vision and philosophy to all of his
projects....from stamps, print, multimedia, exhibitions, etc.
to the Internet! and has been using computers since
1983 and designing interactive interfaces and navigation
since 1992.
Wayne was a director and founder of The Swish Group
Limited, one of Australia’s largest new media companies.
During his role as creative director, he was involved with
the team at Swish in developing numerous award winning
solutions for clients utilising the power of ideas, design
and technology.
Wayne has worked on a diverse range of projects
over 40 years, developing quality print, communication,
new media and other design projects. He is the recipient
of many awards both in print and new media and has
had work published in many Australian and International
publications.
He co-founded the Australian Graphic Design Association
[AGDA] in 1988, was a member of RMIT’s Multimedia
Industry Council; was a member of the Premier’s Task Force
on Communications and Multimedia Development for the
State of Victoria; and, sat on the Multimedia Content
Advisory Group for Education Victoria. Wayne was also
a member of the National School of Design’s Advisory
Committee at Swinburne University of Technology.
